Job Summary
Nurse Manager leading inpatient rehabilitation unit operations with a focus on safe staffing, patient flow, and frontline nursing leadership. Responsibilities include real-time staff support, rounding on units, staffing adjustments based on census and acuity, ensuring timely patient throughput, and maintaining nursing standards. Role emphasizes staff coaching and accountability, onboarding and precepting, competency validation, and promoting engagement and retention. Oversight of clinical quality and patient safety practices (falls prevention, infection prevention, medication safety), along with audits and corrective actions. Collaboration with therapy, case management, physicians, and support departments to remove barriers to care. Requires RN licensure and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred); strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills; ability to work flexible hours based on operational needs. Location: Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital, Oklahoma City, OK.
