Job Summary
Collaborate closely with the Director to coordinate department efforts aligned with the facility's mission and vision. Lead and support nursing staff by providing clinical guidance and leadership. Oversee and participate in Performance Improvement initiatives to boost patient outcomes. Ensure nursing care delivery follows the nursing process and quality standards. Assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care strategies. Manage staffing, scheduling, and foster a positive, supportive work environment. This role requires a minimum of 2+ years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience, a BSN, and a current Texas RN license. The position offers a 3 PM to 11 PM shift with weekends and on-call rotation, with a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $58.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care NICU leadership experience (Manager or Charge Nurse)
- BSN required
- Current RN license in Texas or multi-state compact license (Texas RN license required within 60 days of hire)
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- Weekends with rotation and on-call responsibilities
