Job Summary
Lead and mentor Registered Nurses, oversee clinical operations, and advocate for patient and team needs to drive professional development and achieve unit goals. Manage workflow and staffing patterns to ensure sufficient qualified staff meet patient care needs. Supervise assigned professional, technical, and clerical staff to maintain quality of work. Develop and retain highly skilled staff through hiring, orienting, training, directing work, evaluating performance, and assuring clinical competency. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, 3+ years RN experience, and 2+ years leadership experience. Located at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Of Science Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience
- 1-3 years Minimum of 2 years leadership (i.e. RN-Charge) experience
- Equivalent leadership capabilities
- Registered Nurse: KY
- Basic Life Support - CPR
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
