Job Summary
Lead and empower the Mother-Baby care team by driving daily workflows, allocating nursing resources efficiently, and fostering an environment where staff thrive. Direct the full talent lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to continuous clinical coaching and performance evaluation. Elevate patient care quality by proactively identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks to ensure seamless care journeys. Shape unit operational policy through the creation and implementation of efficient clinical workflows that guarantee safety, regulatory readiness, and compliance with all healthcare accreditation standards. Steward unit financial resources by managing operational budgets, monitoring expenditures, and strategic planning. Requires a Licensed Registered Nurse with at least three years of Mother-Baby experience and one year of formal leadership experience. Full-time day shift at Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted certification for BLS
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing
- 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Mother Baby
- Minimum 1 year of formal experience in an RN leadership role
