Job Summary
Deliver the most remarkable patient experience by facilitating an environment where staff are present with patients and families. Spend at least 50% of time on the unit to provide mentoring, teaching, and support while maintaining collegial relationships with physicians, clinical educators, and interdisciplinary team members. Create a strategy to achieve best outcomes including quality, financial vitality, employee satisfaction, and customer satisfaction. Apply current trends, regulatory standards, safety policies, and change management principles to lead the unit. Requires current RN licensure, a Bachelors Degree in Nursing, and two years of demonstrated leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units

- Graduate Degree
- Two years demonstrated leadership experience
- Three years clinical RN experience in an acute care setting
- Board certification in area of practice

- Understands and applies: equipment used in performing assigned duties
