Nurse Manager Medical/Neuro Intensive Care Unit

Lead the Medical/Neuro Intensive Care Unit by executing system policies across five core areas: Clinical Practice and Quality Outcomes, Human Resource Leadership, Management of the Environment, Financial Growth and Stewardship, and Strategic Planning. Maintain accountability for service objectives while demonstrating BHS operating principles and behaviors as a lifelong learner. Manage a 32-bed modern ICU with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement technology, ensuring patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1 are met. Support staff through individualized orientation and multimodal education programs. This role offers full-time, day shift coverage at Baystate Medical Center Springfield, a Magnet Hospital recognized eight times for excellence in critical care.
