Job Summary
Nurse Manager for Med Surg/Telemetry leading an inpatient unit; responsible for operational, clinical, and people leadership, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences, strong clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and staff engagement. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, staffing, scheduling, patient flow, driving quality improvement and patient safety outcomes, managing budgets and resource utilization, staff development and succession planning, and partnering with physicians to enhance care delivery. Requires California RN license, Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field, current BLS and ACLS certifications, Basic EKG/Telemetry interpretation (or ability to train within six months), and minimum two years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience. Preferred qualifications include Charge Nurse/Supervisor/Leadership experience and advanced degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN License
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Basic EKG/Telemetry Interpretation experience (or ability to complete training within six months)
- Minimum two years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
