Nurse Manager

Organize and administer individualized nursing care to patients while maintaining smooth workflow on all shifts. Supervise nursing students, nurses, nursing assistants, and mental health technicians; observe, coach, and evaluate staff performance. Manage medication accounts and controlled drugs, order replacements, and ensure compliance with infection control and fire safety procedures. Direct emergency situations and implement disaster plans as needed. Prepare scheduling, certify midnight census, and participate in performance enhancement meetings and task forces. Provide patient teaching, discharge planning, and educational literature while collaborating with the pharmacy coordinator and medical director.
