Job Summary
Provide day-to-day clinical leadership for the LTC rehabilitation nursing team, supporting and developing staff while fostering an environment where residents and families feel heard and respected. Manage nursing operations with a focus on geriatric, subacute, and memory care populations, ensuring accountability and quality of care through direct engagement with interdisciplinary teams. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and nursing staff regarding care needs and changes in condition. Requires 5–7 years of LTC or rehabilitation experience, 2+ years in a leadership role, and an active Maryland RN license. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $132,000 annually. Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or higher
- Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of nursing experience within Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a nursing leadership, charge, or supervisory role
- Previous management experience
- Strong clinical knowledge of geriatric, subacute, rehabilitation, or memory care populations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively engage staff, residents, and families
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Extensive nursing leadership experience within LTC, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or memory care
- Experience developing, mentoring, and supporting nursing staff
- Demonstrated ability to promote clinical quality, accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care
- Experience communicating with residents' families regarding care needs, concerns, and changes in condition
