Job Summary
Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery overseeing all departmental functions, including establishment of cost-effective systems, staff development, budgeting, and physician relations to support the hospital's mission and goals. Requires RN licensure in Texas, BLS, NRP within 3 months of hire, and completion of AWHONN fetal monitoring course within 1 year. Advanced degree preferred; five years of management experience in Labor and Delivery and competency in L&D clinical practice are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- RN license in Texas or compact license
- Current BLS
- NRP within 3 months of hire
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring Course within 1 year of hire or documentation of completion
