Job Summary
Lead daily nursing unit operations in an Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital, providing frontline leadership, staffing oversight, coaching, and accountability to support safe, patient-centered care. Drive real-time staff support, workflow optimization, and staffing adjustments based on census and acuity; ensure adherence to nursing standards and quality and safety practices. responsibilities include staffing coordination, rounds on units, onboarding and preceptor support, competency validation and coaching, fall and infection prevention, medication safety, and readiness for surveys, with collaboration across therapy, case management, and physicians to remove barriers to care. Must have RN licensure and a BSN preferred; strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills are essential.
