Job Summary
Manage all aspects of the Infection Prevention Program, including planning, development, and implementation of operational objectives, goals, and processes. Establish and assure compliance of infection prevention policies and procedures to meet all accreditation and regulatory requirements. Oversee recruitment, interview, selection, retention, staff development, and performance management for assigned department staff. Develop department operating and capital budgets while achieving financial goals. Requires CBIC certification, Indiana RN licensure, and three years of Infection Control experience with one year of leadership experience. Full-time day shift Monday through Friday at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis.
Required Qualifications
- Certification specializing in Infection Control credentialed from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- 3 years of experience
- 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
- Must be credentialed by Certification Board of Infection Control (CBIC)
- Must have at least 3 years of RN experience in Infection Control
