Job Summary
Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the hospital Operating Room department, managing staffing, scheduling, and on-call coverage to support surgical service lines. Lead and develop OR nursing staff through hiring, performance management, and professional growth programs while overseeing perioperative quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Partner with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical services leadership to optimize OR throughput and outcomes, and manage the departmental budget including labor, supply chain, and capital equipment. Champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and staff engagement. Requires active RN license in Oregon, BSN, and 3+ years of perioperative experience. Full-time onsite role in Hillsboro, OR.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Oregon (or compact licensure eligible)
- BSN required
- 3+ years of perioperative or OR nursing clinical experience
- 2+ years of nursing leadership or charge RN experience in an OR setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Desired Qualifications
- MSN preferred
- CNOR certification
- Experience managing multi-specialty OR environments
- Familiarity with Epic perioperative documentation
