Job Summary
Manage clinical nursing practices and patient care delivery on assigned units, overseeing human, fiscal, material, support, and systems resources to achieve unit goals. Prioritize associate engagement by being visible and available to all staff levels while supporting development through evidence-based practice and education. Maintain a positive work environment by consistently promoting safety standards and compliance. Requires 3 years RN experience, 1 year clinical leadership, a BSN or MSN, current RN license, BLS certification, and appropriate board certification within six months. Located at Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley, a Level III Trauma center serving 171 beds with state-of-the-art technology.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years RN experience
- 1-year clinical leadership experience
- High School GED
- A degree in nursing (BSN or MSN)
- Current RN License to practice in state of employment as applicable
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- Must sit for appropriate board certification within six months of hire or transfer into the role
- Certification must be passed/obtained within two years of hire or transfer into the role
- Clinical and/or Leadership certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
- Credential: Nursing Specific- ANCC Approved
- Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally
- Exert up to 20lbs frequently
- Exert up to 10lbs constantly
