Job Summary
Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for the ICU unit and identify issues affecting patient care delivery. Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient health service delivery while maintaining quality monitoring systems. Monitor and adhere to the unit budget by approving expenditures and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines. Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development, and evaluation of staff to maintain a high level of associate, patient, and physician satisfaction. This role requires a Registered Nurse with at least three years of experience and one year of cumulative leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted (for BLS)
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted (for ALS)
- Required professional licensure/certification
- 3 years of experience
- 1 year of cumulative leadership experience
- ICU Experience
- Management Experience
