Nurse Manager- Hematology, Oncology, BMT

Provide clinical leadership and manage a designated care area on a twenty-four-hour basis, ensuring accountability for all nursing practice facets and organizational goals. Develop and sustain environments of excellence in patient/family service, staff growth, and quality care while fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion. Conduct interviews, hire, develop, and evaluate departmental leadership; evaluate personnel performance fairly and transparently. Establish operational and capital budgets, monitor expenses against patient volume, and coordinate staffing patterns using labor productivity data. Design programs ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards, and collect data to drive practice changes integrating quality, safety, and productivity metrics.
