Job Summary
Assist the Chief Nursing Officer in delivering safe, quality, and cost-efficient care by maintaining competent staff in the Med Surg and Outpatient Departments. Insure efficient utilization of available resources while meeting productivity, financial, and customer service satisfaction goals. Work collaboratively with administrative personnel, physicians, and staff to enhance communication, share data, and improve processes across the continuum. Requires a current Missouri RN license, BSN preferred, and minimum three years of procedural nursing experience. Full-time, salary-exempt position at Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure
- Minimum three years nursing experience in procedural area
- BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
- Demonstrates skill in human relations and communications
- Broad understanding of the patient care process
- Clinical expertise in their area of responsibility
