Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic goals aligned with organizational priorities while monitoring performance outcomes and adjusting plans based on data. Provide leadership for daily operations across assigned units, ensuring effective patient care delivery, workflow coordination, and open communication with staff. Manage operating budgets, track productivity and overtime, and implement cost-effective strategies to ensure operational sustainability. Recruit, hire, evaluate, and develop staff while fostering engagement, providing coaching to emerging leaders, and ensuring compliance with labor agreements. Develop, implement, and evaluate quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives using evidence-based practices to drive high-quality patient outcomes. This role supports the expansion of OHSU's Endoscopy services within the CHH2 Multispecialty Procedure Unit.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in a related specialty
- One (1) year of recent relevant leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse, preceptor, supervisor, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations in a large, matrixed healthcare environment
- Unencumbered Oregon RN license
- BLS for healthcare providers
- Professional certification in nursing leadership (e.g., NE-BC, CNML)
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or related field (e.g., MBA with healthcare concentration, MHA, MPH)
