Job Summary
Nurse Manager, Emergency Services responsible and accountable for daily operations of a designated clinical area on the night shift. Leads and coordinates clinical care, allocates resources to promote efficient, safe, high-quality nursing practice, integrates clinical, human resources, and financial data for decision making, and promotes evidence-based practice. Works with nursing leadership on organizational planning, drives staff development and retention, and supports initiatives to meet business goals while adhering to Mission Health guidelines. Recruits and welcomes new employees and fosters a friendly, growth-oriented culture. Requires BSN or equivalent, current NC RN licensure (eNLC may apply), BLS, and at least five years of nursing experience with leadership experience; Master’s degree preferred. Location: Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
- Preferred Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC license may apply
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- A minimum of five years of recent nursing experience; 2 years in relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills
