Job Summary
Nurse Manager, Emergency Room oversees daily operations of the Emergency Room, leads and coordinates clinical care, allocates resources to ensure efficient, safe, high-quality nursing care; integrates clinical, human resources, and financial data to support decisions; promotes evidence-based practice and regulatory compliance; participates in planning and evaluation of initiatives; recruits and mentors staff to sustain Mission Health culture and growth; collaborates with nursing leadership to achieve organizational goals and professional development of staff and students.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
- Current RN licensure with North Carolina Board of Nursing (eNLC license may apply)
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- Minimum five years of recent nursing experience; 2 years in relevant clinical hospital leadership
- Leadership skills and experience overseeing clinical operations in an emergency services setting
