Job Summary
Manage daily operations of the Emergency Room by supervising clinical care, allocating resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Integrate clinical, human resource, and financial data to support decision-making while promoting evidence-based practice and research. Collaborate with nursing leadership on organizational planning and initiatives, and contribute to the professional development of staff, students, and colleagues. Recruit and acclimate new employees within a supportive environment that fosters growth and retention. Maintain current licensure as a registered nurse in North Carolina with at least five years of recent nursing experience, including two years in relevant clinical hospital settings.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or equivalent (ADN with MSN, BA with MSN)
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- eNLC (Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact) license
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- five years of recent nursing experience
- 2 years in relevant clinical hospital experience with demonstrated leadership skills
