Job Summary

Oversee all home infusion nursing services, including IV infusion, injection therapy, and chronic/acute treatments, while assessing patient conditions and developing care plans. Supervise a team of infusion nurses by recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, conducting performance evaluations, and managing schedules to ensure adequate coverage. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, participate in case reviews, and lead incident investigations. Develop policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency, monitor budgets, and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead quality improvement initiatives, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
  • At least 2 years in a management or leadership role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and nursing best practices
  • Infusion background with experience working within AIC or AIS healthcare environments
  • Proven experience managing large nursing teams and complex healthcare operations
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
  • Strong knowledge of IV therapy, vascular access devices, and infusion pumps
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and healthcare software
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and guide nursing teams while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards to ensure adherence of nursing staff
  • Strong budgeting and resource allocation skills to maintain cost-effectiveness without compromising quality of care

  • Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) credential
  • Home infusion or specialty pharmacy experience
