Nurse Manager- Dialysis / Hemo (Full Time, Days)

Job Summary
Manage quality patient and staff, including internal and external customers, within the designated scope of responsibility for the Dialysis/Hemo unit. Supervise shift-to-shift operations, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to drive performance, and identify LEAN projects to evaluate current processes. Manage budgets, monitor cost containment, and oversee personnel resources from hiring through performance reviews. Perform daily patient and staff rounds, analyze departmental data, and establish standards for customer service compliance. React effectively to unplanned circumstances to assure quality services and patient-directed care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree BSN degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Registered Nurse RN Licensure within the State of Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC) – maintain active and in good standing throughout employment
- American Heart Association BLS
- 3-5 years RN experience
- Ability to problem solve department issues and maintain clinical practices
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Competent in nursing skills required for designated scope of responsibility
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of pediatric nursing including charge nursing experience preferred
- Career Development: certification after two years preferred
