Job Summary
Lead ICU and PCU nursing teams, ensuring safe, quality care across 48 FTEs and 31 beds. Provide leadership and accountability for unit operations while coordinating continuity through interdisciplinary collaboration. Monitor and improve care quality, manage equipment and supplies, and oversee patient discharge planning and education. Foster a patient-centered culture by communicating effectively with patients, families, and staff. Participate in rounding to respond proactively to patient and staff needs. Maintain compliance with nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Work 7am-4pm with 24/7 on-call responsiveness. Requires 3+ years of ICU leadership experience, Florida RN license, and ACLS/PALS/BCLS certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years recent ICU leadership experience in acute care
- Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree (BSN preferred)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 30 days of hire
- BCLS certification or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of hire
- ACLS certification or ACLS Instructor within 6 months of hire
- PALS or PALS Instructor within 6 months of hire
- 24/7 on-call responsiveness
