NURSE MANAGER

Manage the 24-hour nursing unit by selecting, training, and evaluating staff performance while ensuring accurate staffing mix and allocation. Develop departmental budgets and administer operations within budgeted parameters, maintaining operational reports and collecting statistical data for regulatory purposes. Coordinate nursing activities with the medical staff and ancillary departments to solve problems and drive quality improvement initiatives. Supervise nursing interventions and documentation, establish unit goals aligned with facility objectives, and facilitate professional development to drive staff retention. Ensure all policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed while completing required annual education assignments.
