Job Summary
Lead daily nursing unit operations in an Inpatient Rehabilitation hospital, ensuring safe staffing, patient flow, and round-the-clock operational execution. Provide visible leadership on patient care units, coach and mentor nursing staff, support onboarding and staff development, validate competencies, and oversee adherence to nursing standards. Drive quality and safety initiatives including fall prevention, skin integrity, infection and medication safety, and regulatory readiness. Partner with multidisciplinary teams to remove barriers, manage staffing based on census and acuity, and support bedside teams through coaching, performance feedback, and process improvements to sustain reliable, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse licensure required
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of staffing operations, nursing workflows, clinical quality, and frontline leadership
