Job Summary
Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential while inspiring continual professional growth. Manage budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling for the inpatient behavioral health units. Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience. This role supports the daily clinical operations of the Psychiatric Unit at Mercy Hospital, a 375-bed not-for-profit member of Catholic Health recognized as a Top Workplace on Long Island.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for Psychiatry/Behavioral Health
- 3-5 Years of working experience in Acute Psychiatric Nursing
- Previous leadership experience
- Regulatory knowledge
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree
