Job Summary
Manager for the Cath & EP Labs oversees the performance, daily operations, programs, and activities consistent with Senior Leadership’s objectives. Supervises all clinical and operations staff in the Cath Lab and EP Lab. Establishes objectives to accomplish department/service line/health system goals. Operates within budget parameters. Manages departmental operations to ensure services meet or exceed customer expectations. Oversees daily operations to ensure processes are efficient and effective in meeting department goals and objectives. Provides departmental leadership through people who have a direct impact on the department’s area of responsibility.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- RN license or appropriate registry for Technologist (RN, Cardiovascular Tech or Rad Tech preferred)
- Certification in Leadership or Clinical Subspecialty required within 2 years of hire (RCIS or RCES preferred)
- Three years of technical and progressive leadership experience in operations
- Strong operations and financial management skills (budget development, capital budgeting, productivity)
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and Intranet software, e-mail
