Job Summary
Lead the delivery of Talk Cancer cancer awareness training across the UK, managing a remote team of nurse trainers to deliver engaging workshops both in-person and online. Develop inclusive, accessible, and culturally relevant training content; tailor sessions for diverse communities; shape the future direction of the Talk Cancer programme; collaborate with CRUK colleagues to strengthen delivery and impact; ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards; represent CRUK externally; stay up-to-date with cancer evidence and NHS developments; and work with partners to expand reach while travelling across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a nurse, with active NMC registration
- Experience in community nursing, health promotion, practice nursing, health visiting, or similar
- A confident communicator who can engage and adapt to different audiences with sensitivity and clarity
- Strong facilitation skills, able to read the room and tailor your approach
- Experience of leading or supporting others, with a focus on development and inclusion
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture planning with day-to-day delivery
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-changing environment
- A commitment to tackling health inequalities and improving cancer outcomes for everyone
- Confidence using digital tools (e.g. Teams, PowerPoint, Excel)
