Job Summary
Oversee front-line nursing, medical assistant, phlebotomy, and technician staff within the designated service line, providing after-hours on-call support as needed. Address client concerns by assigning appropriate interventions and serve as a point of contact for medication inquiries and refill requests. Conduct regular staff meetings, manage annual performance evaluations, and perform routine chart audits as directed. Participate in recruitment and hiring, facilitate onboarding and training, and compile monthly data summaries of all interventions. Act as a liaison between administrative leadership and supervised teams to monitor, evaluate, and enhance workflow processes. Prepare counseling memoranda and corrective action plans for staff with input from leadership and HR. Monitor clinical interventions, escalate concerns promptly, and manage procurement of medical supplies. Maintain confidentiality by safeguarding medical records and implementing secure data protection methods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a licensed, practical or registered nurse
- Ability to read & interpret documents such as lab results, notes & documents within an electronic health record, safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports & correspondence clearly & effectively via multiple methods, in various platforms
- Communicates effectively & therapeutically to clients, family members, employees, & other contacts within the community in-person, via telephone, and via video conferencing
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, & divide all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, & decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to problem solve several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Shall be able to follow direction and accept supervision
