Job Summary
Oversee all department functions for the Blood Cancer Unit at Medical City Dallas, identifying cost-effective systems to support departmental and hospital goals. Build and sustain effective relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors; monitor and improve customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. Collaborate with Senior Management to achieve objectives of the Blood Cancer and Stem Cell Units, using leadership and operational oversight to drive performance and quality in a high-acuity oncology setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Provider
- ACLS required within 12 months of hire
- Five years of management experience (personnel, payroll, budgets, capital, business planning, marketing, physician relations and supervision)
