Job Summary
Nurse Manager responsible for the Maternal Fetal Institute Clinic and the Specialty Obstetric Referral Center, overseeing department functions, fiscal and human resource allocation, and development of plans of care based on RN assessments; requires RN license in Texas, BLS, fetal monitoring and resuscitation certifications, and prior management/supervisory experience in acute care. Healthcare leadership role at Medical City Dallas with focus on OB/Antepartum services and collaboration with patients, physicians, staff, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) AHA or ARC
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Must be a (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Texas - Compact is accepted
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required - MBA or MHA is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of practice as an RN in the NICU or OB area is required
- Must have recent management/supervisory experience in an acute care environment
