Job Summary
Ambulatory Nurse Manager leading nursing care delivery for non-hospitalized patients within ambulatory departments including procedural and infusion areas. Responsible for supervision, staff development, regulatory compliance, quality and safety initiatives, budget oversight, and collaboration with department leadership to achieve organizational goals. Roles include managing staffing, promoting evidence-based practice, ensuring patient flow and satisfaction, and supporting front/back office operations. Requires RN licensure in the applicable state, BLS certification, and a Bachelor Degree in Nursing with substantial clinical experience in ambulatory care; Master’s level leadership experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - in state you live OR multistate RN license with proof of application
- Current active multistate RN license or active single-state RN license in the state you will be working
- BLS or BCLS certification (American Heart Association)
- 5+ years of clinical experience in ambulatory care or related practice area
- Master Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- 1+ years of nursing leadership/2+ years management experience (preferred)
- Nursing Professional Development Certification (NPD-BC) - preferred
