Job Summary
Nurse Manager ambulatory pediatrics overseeing delivery of nursing care for non-hospitalized pediatric patients in ambulatory settings. Provides clinical supervision, manages personnel, staffing, and development; collaborates with liaison departments to maintain evidence-based care standards; participates in clinical nursing research and supports Cleveland Clinic research activities; develops quality and safety initiatives, policies, and budget oversight; ensures staff works at top of licensure and fosters shared decision making and staff development; requires BSN, RN license, BLS, and at least three years of clinical nursing experience with strong leadership/management skills. Preferred MSN and pediatric specialty certification.
Required Qualifications
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Current state RN licensure
- BLS through American Heart Association
- Three years of experience as a clinical nurse
- Demonstrated leadership/management, communication, counseling, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, and group process skills
- High degree of clinical expertise in the specialty area (pediatrics)
- Preferred MSN and nursing certification in specialty area
