Job Summary
RN or LPN Per Diem roles at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center (Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Unit): perform comprehensive nursing care including admissions assessments, development and communication of individualized plans of care, administration of medications and IV therapy (RN), assistance with treatments, data collection for care planning, and education for residents and families. Work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team across rotating shifts with flexible 16- or 32-hour per diem commitments. Strong clinical skills, bedside care, and compassionate, patient-centered approach are essential.
Required Qualifications
- RN or LPN license (NY State)
- RN requires NYS RN license; LPN requires NYS LPN license
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma
- LPN: NYS LPN license
- Flexibility with per diem 16-hour or 32-hour commitments
- Ability to administer medications and monitor IV therapy (RN)
- Ability to collect data and contribute to care planning (LPN/RN)
- Commitment to patient education for residents and families
- Collaborative work with interdisciplinary team
