Job Summary
Conduct biometric wellness screenings at client sites, including height, weight, blood pressure, waist/hip circumference, and finger stick blood collection for glucose and cholesterol. Provide exceptional customer service during events held on regular business days and maintain accurate, complete, and legible records. Participate in required training, comply with safety policies, and uphold HIPAA, OSHA, and quality assurance standards while traveling up to 60 miles from base. Requires a nursing license, two years of healthcare experience, and proficiency with finger sticks and manual blood pressure. Day shift, part-time contract role with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Medical license (Nursing license)
- Formal medical education
- Current appropriate medical certification
- Additional medical certification / licensure as required by state or regulatory requirements
- At least 2 years of healthcare experience in a professional health care setting
- Completion of a fingerstick within the last 2 years
- Proficient with finger stick blood collection methods
- Proficient with manual blood pressure
- Skills for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation and storage
- Ability to lift light to moderately heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness
- Ability to examine and observe details
- Willingness to travel a 30-60 mile radius to site
- Availability of at least two weekdays on a regular basis
