Job Summary
Administer methadone to patients as prescribed by the Medical Director or Clinic Physician, ensuring medication accountability. Evaluate and assess new and current patients for treatment appropriateness, observe post-administration, and collect urine specimens for contract filing. Maintain medical supply inventories, receive shipments per DEA procedures, and coordinate courtesy dose packages. Train new nurses, participate in weekly treatment team meetings, and implement quality health standards to ensure accreditation compliance. Work onsite from 5:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday, with Saturday rotations from 7am to 9am.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as LPN/LVN or RN in the state of employment
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Valid driver's license
- Accurate data entry skills and basic computing knowledge
- Ability to work independently under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Quick reaction capability
- Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuge, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers, and other medical equipment
- Basic knowledge and skill in using standard office equipment
- Meet attendance standards and be ready for work as scheduled
- Comply with all regulatory and accrediting agency requirements
