Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for a part-time role in Buffalo, NY in the Float department. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations with vitals, assisting with assessments and documentation, maintaining medical equipment, monitoring patient condition and EMR documentation, administering immunizations and injections, performing EKGs and phlebotomy as needed, transporting patients, educating patients and families, and supporting care plans and follow-up. Requires strong clinical skills, EMR proficiency, patient assessment capabilities, critical thinking, time management, and effective communication. Eligible candidates must hold an active LPN license in NY and BLS certification; 1–2 years of ambulatory nursing experience preferred. Competitive salary range and benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications
- State Education Department possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, required
