Job Summary
Nurse (LPN or RN) responsible for medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training and supervising staff, and resident well-being. Duties include assisting with instrumental activities of daily living (ADLs), environmental orientation, administration of medications, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence as allowed by state regulations. Train staff and report to the director of nursing; ensure care per resident treatment and service plans; uphold infection control and safety procedures; review and communicate resident care documentation; evaluate health emergencies within RN scope of practice and state regulations; support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents. Requires current LPN or RN license in good standing; typical candidates have 1 year of supervisory experience; new grads encouraged to apply.
