Job Summary
Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) PRN on a skilled nursing team. Provide direct resident care and supervise nursing assistants, participate in care planning, and communicate with the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities include orientation and training of staff, explaining nursing procedures, monitoring residents' health and mental/emotional conditions, notifying physicians and families as needed, and performing procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, and NG tube care. Support the facility's standards of practice and regulatory requirements while delivering compassionate, faith-based care to seniors in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing
- Current LPN/LVN license in the State
- One year nursing experience
