Job Summary
Coordinate with the health care team to facilitate high-quality services for patients across multiple centers. Administer medications and injections accurately while documenting patient responses, and perform intakes including venipuncture as necessary. Order medications, vaccines, and supplies; check emergency boxes monthly and refrigerator temperatures daily. Supervise referrals, follow up on patient care correspondence, and assist providers with procedures. Confer with physicians to clarify prescribed regimens and provide health counseling, including HIV and prenatal care. Maintain nursing competence through continuing education and ensure compliance with infection control policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least High School Diploma or GED
- Current New York State License to practice as a LPN
- Current CPR Certificate or plan to attend a CPR training course within six (6) months of employment
