Nurse/LPN II

Coordinate with the health care team to facilitate high-quality services, administer medication and injections, and perform venipuncture during patient intakes. Order medications and vaccines, supervise referrals, and assist providers with procedures while conferring on medical regimen interpretations. Provide health counseling, including HIV and prenatal care, and maintain equipment by checking emergency boxes and refrigerator temperatures. Ensure compliance with infection control policies and update prenatal logs as necessary. Maintain nursing competence through continuing professional education. Works assigned shifts at various CHN centers across New York City.
