Job Summary
LPN I at Community Healthcare Network provides front-line nursing support across multiple NYC centers. Responsibilities include coordinating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care, administering medications and injections, performing venipuncture, placing orders for medications and vaccines, monitoring storage conditions, supervising referrals and follow-ups, assisting providers with procedures, counseling patients (including HIV counseling), updating prenatal logs, maintaining nursing competency through continuing education, and ensuring patient confidentiality. The role requires adherence to infection control policies and occasional shifts at different centers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- At least High School Diploma or GED
- Current New York State License to practice as a LPN
- Current CPR Certificate or plan to attend CPR Training within six months of employment
