Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse role coordinating medical supports, administering medications, training staff on health care issues, and ensuring compliance with licensure standards while supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and foster care services. Responsibilities include developing Medical Support Guidelines, updating health-related documentation, liaising with physicians and other health care professionals, participating in Individual Support Plans and IDT meetings, writing monthly medical reports, and promoting ethical and professional conduct within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program
- Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of assignment
- Two (2) years of experience providing community based supports (residential)
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
