Nurse Leader

Establish an overall view of patients, families, and caregivers by developing strong partnerships dedicated to optimal care. Facilitate the delivery of optimal patient care through delegation, collaboration, critical thinking, and prioritization while independently planning professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies. Manage the care environment by ensuring effective communication across all healthcare team members. Maintain Parkview's standard 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 40-bed medical unit treating adults with diagnoses including COPD, CHF, diabetes, and neurological disorders. Requires a valid Registered Nurse license, current CPR certification, and 2-3 years of specialty experience. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within three years of employment.
