Develop an overall view of patients, family, and caregivers by establishing strong partnerships dedicated to optimal care. Facilitate the delivery of optimal patient care through delegation, collaboration, and prioritization while independently planning professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, hospital policies, and the ANA Code of Ethics. Accountable for managing care and the care environment by ensuring effective communication across all healthcare team members. Maintain Parkview's standard 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio within a 40-bed medical unit treating adults with diagnoses including COPD, CHF, and renal failure. Requires a valid Registered Nurse license, current CPR certification, and 2-3 years of specialty experience, with a BSN required within three years.
