Job Summary
The Nurse Leader - Emergency Department is responsible for supervising unit activities, managing clinical nursing practice, and ensuring patient care delivery. Key duties include assigning duties to associates, providing leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, improving clinical quality outcomes, and facilitating communication with the healthcare team. The role requires a NYS RN license, a BSN, BLS CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications, along with three to five years of recent ED/Critical Care experience. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to manage a stressful environment.
Required Qualifications
- NYS license as a registered nurse
- BSN
- Current BLS CPR
- ACLS and PALS certification (or able to obtain within 3 months of hire)
- Telemetry Credentialed
