Job Summary
Assist the Director in managing clinical nursing practice and patient care delivery, with the majority of time spent in supervisory work. Assign duties appropriately to associates, foster collegial interdisciplinary relationships, and serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff. Coordinate resources to meet customer expectations, provide feedback on staff performance, and facilitate unit activity to ensure excellence in clinical outcomes and quality measures. Manage human resources within the department while supporting the Department of Nursing's philosophy and goals. Requires NYS RN license, BSN, and two years of OB nursing experience. Full-time role with on-call requirements, 50% potential off-shift availability, and a pay range of $47.00-$57.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- NYS license as a registered nurse
- Current BLS CPR
- A graduate of an approved school of nursing
- BSN
- Minimum of two years recent OB nursing experience
