Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living while monitoring vital signs and documenting observations for your preceptor. Collaborate on care planning by reporting test results and patient status to help shape clinical outcomes. Support unit operations by preparing and transporting patients for diagnostic services and maintaining a safe environment. This role requires BLS certification within 30 days of hire, high school diploma, and active enrollment in an accredited nursing program. Schedule is nights and PRN at Via Christi St. Francis.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer
- Currently actively pursuing your nursing degree through an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN program
