Job Summary
Provide direct patient care, including medical examinations, implementation of orders, and treatment of conditions while monitoring withdrawal signs and symptoms. Work under supervision to communicate with medical providers regarding patient concerns and execute public health education protocols for tuberculosis, HIV, and hepatitis. Develop and review medical policies, serve on quality assurance committees, and implement medically based group sessions. This Full-Time RN role involves four 10-hour or five 8-hour shifts with every-other weekend rotation. The position offers a sign-on incentive up to $8,000 and a pay rate of $39.00–$41.00 per hour. Candidates must be a New York State-licensed RN with at least one year of experience in substance abuse treatment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse currently registered by the New York State Department.
- At least one year of experience, or comparable training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency.
- Basic computer skills required.
- This opening requires to work everyother weekend.
